The new Cable Handlers Facility is a 991m2 project with two major phases: done first, a renovation of the existing facilities and the other, a new building along the shores of the Canal. Due to its proximity to the Canal, the studio conducted a study of Canal Architecture so that the building was representative of the history of the locks.

The building is used by more than 400 cable handlers and includes recreation, education and administration facilities as well as a cafeteria. Because of its proximity to the Canal shores, it's design and programming solutions were a challenge in order to comply with the Panama Canal Authority's site, infrastructure, operations and environmental restrictions.
